Bringing various generations together.
The Golden Prom is an annual community event for senior citizens hosted by North and Tartan High School students and District 622 Community Education. The evening includes dinner, a live band, dancing and intergenerational socializing. This event positively impacts students and senior citizens through service learning, social interaction and newfound mutual respect and goodwill toward a different generation connecting community members across generations.
