Offering support to reach one’s full potential.
After bouncing around various schools and states throughout her life, Breanna dropped out of 10th grade and began working. At the age of 21, Bree came to Brainerd Adult Basic Education (ABE) in pursuit of her GED. She worked diligently brushing up on her Math and Language Arts skills while maintaining a full time job and living on her own.
After three months of dedication and 105 hours of logged ABE support, she successfully completed her GED. Immediately Bree put her new skills to use and became an ABE volunteer. Bree recently became the part-time ABE intake and assessment assistant for the ABE team. As a nod to her work ethic, tenacity and drive, we were thrilled to have Breanna as part of our team to show the true impact of our programs.
