Community education provides life changing opportunities for all.

One of our community members with mild disabilities wanted to join an exercise class and socialize with other adults. Even though her disabilities are mild, she didn’t feel comfortable in the adults with disabilities program. Her personal care assistant encouraged her to join an adult education class and participating in this class has changed her life! Her confidence has grown, she has made many friends, and feels challenged and successful. She continually says that it is her favorite hour each week. We’re proud to share that this experience has had a positive impact on everyone involved.
