Movement with Purpose: A Body-Based Framework for Preschool–Grade 3
Regulation begins with the body, and learning begins with regulation. In this session, educators will explore The Body-Based Framework and discover how movement, heavy work, and Big Body Play can support children’s nervous systems, strengthen relationships, and improve readiness for learning. Participants will learn how to recognize signs of dysregulation, implement practical movement-based strategies, and create safe, purposeful opportunities for play that foster social-emotional growth, connection, and self-regulation. Designed for educators working with children from preschool through third grade, this session provides actionable tools that can be immediately applied in the classroom to help children thrive.
