Enrichment Coordinator (.25 FTE) – Delano Community Education
Under the direction of the Director of Community Education, the Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for the development, implementation, and growth of youth and adult enrichment programming within Delano Community Education.
This position develops new offerings, supports instructors, and works to increase participation and sustainability across enrichment programs. The role requires initiative, creativity, strong organizational skills, and the ability to build relationships with instructors, staff, participants and within the community.
This is a .25 FTE position focused specifically on enrichment program growth and quality. There is flexibility in day to day hours as approved by the director. Some evenings and/or weekends may be required, as needed to cover an event.
Responsibilities
- Identify, design, and implement youth and adult enrichment and youth development programs aligned to community interests
- Research areas of growth and identify programming gaps or underperforming areas
- Evaluate participation data and participant feedback to refine and strengthen offerings
- Adapt programming to meet diverse community needs and ensure equitable access
- Recruit, onboard, and support qualified instructors and community partners
- Monitor class participation and satisfaction
- Assess community interests through surveys, participation trends, and informal feedback
- Build partnerships with local organizations to expand program reach
- Work collaboratively with the marketing specialist to promote programs effectively
- Assist with course pricing recommendations and basic budget oversight
- Track enrollment, cancellations, and participation trends

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree relatable to community education, community development and/or education
- Relevant experience in enrichment programming, recreation, community education, or program coordination may substitute
- Experience working with youth and/or adult learners
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity while managing multiple projects
Salary Information: $24.61 – $25.47 per hour
Position reports to: Director of Community Education
