Position Title: Activity Leader
Hours: 7 hours per day; 5 days a week; 12 months
Salary: Class III starting at $17.99 per hour
Required experience:
Previous experience working with school age youth in a leadership role.
Planning program activities experience
Preferred Experience:
Post Secondary coursework in education or related area
Experience working with diverse families
Inclusion or special needs experience
Responsibilities:
- Supervise, plan and implement daily activities (gym, arts & crafts, music, etc) for preschool or elementary youth
- Must be comfortable with supervising groups of students (up to 15 students)
- Assist Youth and Family Coordinator in day-to-day responsibilities of managing site
- Provide leadership with other program responsibilities including snack, paperwork, discipline, communication, and other duties as assigned.
