Daring Leadership: Taking Smart Risks in 2020

Successful organizations take risks. Strengthen your team’s ability to take smart risks and solve problems by creating a culture of belonging, inclusivity, and diverse perspectives in your organization. We will use the tools set forth by research professor Brené Brown in her book, Dare to Lead. A Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator will illustrate the collection of four skill sets that are necessary to cultivate courage, commitment and shared purpose, strive for excellence, empathy and self-compassion and to make valuable contributions and take smart risks.

Cultures thrive when all stakeholders are engaged and active in working together. Human-Centered Design is another innovative problem solving tool that is grounded in empathy and holds the belief that any problem is solvable.

In this two-day leadership conference, participants will learn skills that will help them to build a culture in which people feel safe, seen, heard, and respected and willing to tackle any problem.

Online registration is now closed. Call the MCEA Executive Office at 651-257-0752 if you wish to register. We also take walk-in registrations.
