 Job Summary: The Kids & Company Program Supervisor is responsible for the leadership, management, operation, supervision and evaluation of the Kids & Company/LEAD programs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Responsible for supervision and evaluation of out of school time (OST) staff and program operations at multiple sites, including direct supervision of Lead OST Supervisors, Activity Supervisors, Activity Assistants, Activity Assistant Trainees and the Accounts Manager
Work with the Youth Programs Coordinator in the development and implementation of philosophy, quality standards, curriculum, professional development, evaluation, policies, and strategic planning for Kids & Company
Collaborate, design and lead professional development and monthly meetings to support staff and program growth
Manage the recruitment, interviewing, and hiring process of out-of-school time staff
Oversee and implement personnel management, protocol, and procedures including hiring practices, employment contracts, True Time, time cards, leave requests, and absences.
Develop, make recommendations, and monitor the Kids & Company budget
Collaborate and work with building principals on the day-to-day operation of the program as it relates to use of facilities, integration of program with the building and staff, and issues relating to staff, children, and parents
Work with district personnel on district goals and initiatives for youth through specialized programming (such as Targeted Services programming, Youth Enrichment, and Stepping Stones Preschool)

Other Functions
Oversee and approve district and site-based expenditures through district systems
Design and maintain appropriate staffing patterns including school day, non school day and summer programming
Assist Lead OST supervisors with orientation and professional development of staff for the program
Promote a positive image of the program by maintaining open and positive communication between Kids & Company, Stepping Stones Preschool, Youth Enrichment, school staff, families and community
Collaborates with all Community Education staff with programming in areas such as communication, staffing, space, budget and professional development
Design and manage the ongoing staff orientation, training and mentoring process
Oversee ongoing family registration and participation processes
Review, proof, and provide input on written communication going out to families, school personnel, and the community
Supervise the performance review process of all out of school time staff
Cultivate, support, and expand partnerships with Principals, School Personnel, Parents, Families and Professional organizations to best support youth and programs
Serve as an emergency substitute at a site if no other suitable substitute can be found
Other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned by the District Youth Programs Coordinator

Understanding of effective programming strategies and best practices

Working knowledge of best practices in school age care and youth development as well as the Minnesota Afterschool Accreditation Program (MAAP) Keys to Quality and DHS Certification requirements

Salary Range Depending on Qualifications: $63,668 to $72,800.
