Families First of Minnesota has an opening for a Transportation Coordinator in its Head Start/Early Head Start Program.  This position is responsible for the transportation department including coordinating and leading the transportation team in providing reliable, safe and welcoming transportation for Head Start children and families. This position is responsible for route planning, fleet maintenance and repair scheduling, among other duties.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate must have CDL licensure and Class B driver’s license with passenger endorsement. Some mechanical ability or knowledge preferred. Ideal candidates will be detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. The individual selected for this position must have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, be a team player and have a strong work ethic.
