Nutrition Coordinator

Families First of Minnesota has an opening for a Nutrition Coordinator in its Head Start/Early Head Start Program.  This position is 40 hours per week and is responsible for oversight of the nutrition component of the Head Start/Early Head Start Programs.  The individual in this position is responsible for generating and keeping monthly production records, site menus and reimbursement claims.  The Head Start program participates in the Child and Adult Care Food Program.  This position is responsible for ensuring that the regulations of the Child and Adult Care Food Program are met and that all USDA nutritional guidelines are met.

Our nutrition program prides itself on providing a farm-to-table experience for children and families. The ideal candidate is passionate about nutrition, is innovative and forward looking.  The ideal candidate is detail-oriented with a strong understanding of technology and software applications and the ability to monitor and manage reporting deadlines.  Candidate will be a Registered Dietitian, have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
