8.5 hours per day, which includes eight hours of paid time and 30 minutes of unpaid lunchtime

Schedule Monday/Friday 8:00-4:30 pm and T/W/Th 10:00-6:30

REPORTS TO: Program Director of Community Enrichment and Engagement

Under general supervision, assists the Director of Community Enrichment and Engagement with daily operations and management of program registrations, outreach, social media platforms, communication, facilities use, and community events. Work with the community and staff to promote Life-Long learning for all residents.

Provide customer service to current and prospective Community Education participants; respond to inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
Provide accurate and up to date information to current and prospective CE participants, vendors, and community members.
Assist daily functions of registrations, cancellations, payments, and associated communications with participants and instructors.
Assist staff, outside facility user groups, participants, and Director in problem-solving, collaborating, scheduling and maintaining open lines of communication within the schools and the district.
Promote CE offerings via social media, peachjar, school or community events, etc.
Ensure general CE social media sites are updated regularly with accurate and timely information; highlighting current activities and promoting upcoming events/opportunities.
Conduct CE outreach by participating in various community events and/or ensuring that CE staff have the necessary materials to attend community events.
Promote and communicate a positive image of Robbinsdale Area Schools and the CE department with internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborates with local municipalities, athletic groups and high school activities departments to identify community athletic and facility needs.
Coordinates and administers the proper scheduling of district facilities (gyms, fields, classrooms, etc.) for district and community programs per the district’s facility use policy.
Provides detailed support to permit holders, custodians, administrators, building secretaries, support staff, teachers and other stakeholders.
Collaborate with principals, building secretaries, activities directors, head custodians and other district staff on facility use issues.
Recruit, interview, schedule, train, and support Building Supervisors to ensure appropriate coverage for all rentals. Plan and conduct regular training.
Perform occasional site visits to review space, and ensure permit holders are adhering to facilities use policies.
Develop and maintain relationships within the school district and outside organizations.
Comfortable using technology to organize and deliver community programs and services

High School Diploma or GED required.
Ability to adapt and fulfill job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
Ability to communicate information clearly and concisely, both written and orally.
Ability to provide a high level of customer service.
Ability to establish and maintain effective communication and relationships.
Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate facility data.
Ability to work with other school personnel when implementing programs.
Highly organized, with attention to detail and the ability to efficiently multitask and manage competing priorities and deadlines for multiple programs and projects.
Ability to cooperatively work with outside agencies in setting up appropriate programs.
Experience utilizing Eleyo preferred.
Bilingual preferred (Spanish/Somali)
