Immediate Supervisor: Community Education Director
Supervises: Instructors of Milaca Community Education Classes, Wrap Around Care Supervisor, and Kids Town Level I and II Aides and Student Workers.
Qualifications:
Applicable college degree preferred
High school diploma required
Experience working in a childcare setting
Computer skills
Knowledge of current child care standards and practices
Knowledge of basic recreational programming standards
Ability to connect with children, staff, and the community
Excellent communication skills
Organizational skills
Essential Responsibilities:
Youth Enrichment and Recreation Responsibilities:
Plan and supervise all aspects of daily program activities
Research and develop diverse program offering for both youth and adults
Develop, offer, and instruct diverse enrichment and recreational programs
Recruit program instructors and participants
Prepare and submit information regarding upcoming program offerings
Develop and implement marketing strategies for program offerings
Report and recommend programming possibilities to C.E. Director and C.E. Advisory Council
Research possibilities of securing additional funds through grants and other external sources
Record and submit necessary paperwork for instructors to be paid for programs they offer
Develop effective pricing models for programs offered ensuring positive revenue to expense ratios
Enter registrations into software and prepare payments for deposit to be made by the CE Administrative Assistant
Other duties as assigned
Care Coorindator Responsibilities:
Direct and supervise program staff
Responsible for opening care room daily
Collaborate with the Community Education Director to create, implement, and evaluate future of care programming
Attend necessary trainings to remain up to date on current program standards and initiatives
Recruit and hire employees and volunteers for the planned programming
Maintain accurate tuition records through monthly billing processes
Provide families weekly billing statements
Develop effective pricing models for programs offered ensuring positive revenue to expense ratios
Enter registrations into software and prepare payments for deposit to be made by the CE Administrative Assistant
Other duties as assigned
Hours:36 Hour per week
Shift starting daily at 6:30 a.m.
Daily schedule may change based on program needs and planned activities
Occasional Saturdays may be required
Salary: Notice of Assignment/At Will Employee. Pay and benefits commensurate with experience and education.
Experience Required:
Experience planning recreation programs for youth and young adults. Ability to work in a childcare setting daily.
