Engaging Your Community for Optimum Results
Mike Looby, Retired Osseo Director of Community Engagement
This workshop will deepen your understanding of “Community Engagement” and why it is critically important in our rapidly changing world. Optimum results can be achieved when you have an understanding of the principles and the basic tenants of community education, coupled with an intentional plan to actively engage “your” community. A variety of both internal and external audiences will be identified as well as ways to engage them. Participants will leave the workshop with a strong start on an engagement plan they designed for specific audiences.
