Coordinate the annual awards nomination process and determines award recipients.

Community Education Network on Disabilities (CEND)

To provide a forum within MCEA that will deal with issues and concerns relevant to all Community Education Programs working with people with disabilities.

Conference

Plan, develop and coordinate the annual MCEA conference.

Delegate Assembly

To plan, coordinate and encourage involvement in the Community Education decision making process by MCEA members and other interested individuals with grass roots involvement.

Environmental Education

ECF Early Childhood Family

Provides a forum within MCEA that will deal with issues and concerns relevant to all Early Childhood Family Programs.

Finance

To carry out the steps identified by the audit committee and to assist the board in establishment of the budget, mid-year adjustments and membership fees and categories.

Legislation

To develop and promote State and Federal Legislation that will insure the development and growth of Community Education.

Local C.E. Review

To schedule and operate local program review evaluation in various school districts at the request of the member districts.

Marketing Services

To promote MCEA and the Community Education concept at the local and state level and to promote statewide membership in MCEA and encourage membership in related professional organizations.

Membership

MN Citizens in CE

To encourage citizen involvement in MCEA, to act as an information resource and lobbyist for Minnesota citizens on matters of Community Education and to cooperate with other communities.

MBSA

Nominations

To promote and encourage nominations of District Board Representative for officers of the association and to conduct the elections in accordance with the association by-laws.

Professional Development

Helps to plan and coordinate the professional development opportunities for members.

SCENE

The SCENE is the official newsletter and major publication of MCEA. SCENE team members write and recruit articles and pictures. Also assist the editor with other tasks.
