Youth Enrichment/Marketing Coordinator

Full time, year round Youth Enrichment/Marketing Coordinator. Salary range $50,000 to $55,000

Job Summary:

Provide direction and leadership in the recruitment, screening, training and supervision of all youth enrichment instructors; both internal and external instructors; for all community education youth enrichment programs.
Develop and maintain procedures and processes in the supervision of non-school district employees teaching and leading classes.
Attend community education advisory council meetings as needed and/or requested.
Help facilitate and provide direction in all community education social media, web, and public relations/marketing efforts (including newspapers, publications, signage, flyers, catalogs, etc.)
Work closely with school district communications office staff.
Serve as the lead staff person in creating community education publications.  Create request for proposals as needed/required for marketing purposes within the Community Education program.
Create and monitor annual budgets of responsibility to successfully implement youth enrichment programming and department marketing goals and objectives.
Serve as the Community Education liaison/board member for and with various community groups as identified.
Spearhead the Vehicle Fair special event and be a team member with all of our other identified program special events.
Collaborate with our Community Partnerships Manager to maximize opportunities for students, staff, and program participants.

Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
1-3 years of relevant experience required
Ability to attend late afternoon or evening meetings
Ability to work independently under time constraints and set priorities with minimal supervision
Ability to research, analyze, and evaluate financial data
Ability to communicate complex information clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to provide a high level of customer service, and establish and maintain effective communications and relationships
Excellent writing, analytical, and research skills
A solid understanding of budgets as they relate to proposals and programming
Knowledge of and/or experience with graphic design
Ability to partner well with existing and new groups, organizations, and businesses
