HEAD START SITE COORDINATOR
Families First of Minnesota has a position open for a Freeborn County Head Start Site Coordinator (full-time) in its Head Start Program. This position oversees the Freeborn County Head Start Site and supervises staff assigned to that site in compliance with agency and program policies and procedures and pursuant to the Head Start Performance Standards, MN Rule 3, and CACFP requirements and curriculum.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) or Associate’s degree (A.A.) in Education, or related field, or a combined equivalent of education, experience and/or training. Candidate must meet Head Start Teacher qualifications. Knowledge of Head Start Performance Standards is helpful as well as experience working with families from diverse and low-income populations. The individual in this position is responsible for developing collaborative partnerships with organizations in Freeborn County that support comprehensive services for low-income families with young children. The ideal candidate will be a team player who supports the Head Start philosophy in partnering with families, supporting staff, and reaching out to the community. Bilingual candidates preferred.
