above and beyond the call of duty.

Lifetime Achievement Award

The MCEA Lifetime Achievement Award is presented to an individual with 20+ years of leadership in the field of Community Education who has made exemplary contributions to advance the goals and principles of Community Education locally and throughout Minnesota. The MCEA Board of Directors seeks nominations annually for this award. The Board reviews these nominations to determine if any of the candidates meet criteria for award consideration. From the list of qualified candidates, the Board may select one or more recipients to be honored at the annual Leadership Day event.
Lifetime Achievement Award Application is posted in Sept. and is due Nov. 20 of each year.

Project Awards

Presented to outstanding projects that have exemplified the concept of Community Education.  A project is either a one-time event or an ongoing activity that is associated with a Community Education program. Project awards are presented in your district at either an Advisory Council or School Board meeting by your Region Rep.

Project Award Application is posted in May and need to be submitted to your Region Rep. or the MCEA Office by Aug. 30.

Regional Community Educators of Excellence
